Students will be creating their very own Weebly website to display the information they learned from Chapter 6. Students will be asked to complete the assigned Project Pages from their Project Template Packet for homework. They will then use the information they wrote in their packet to transfer to their website. This allows students to utilize class time for website design. To ensure students are working at an appropriate and manageable pace to successfully complete the website by the due date, there will be checkpoints along the way. On the checkpoint due date, the assigned Project Pages from the Project Template Packet must be completed. Students will not be allowed to modify their website until the project template pages are complete.
Below I posted the link students need to use to access their website (Weebly Student Log In). I also posted a link to the example website I created (Example Mesoamerica Website). Students can use this website as a guideline as to what is expected. It also includes the directions for each page and helpful tips as to where to find the information.
Students' websites will be graded according to the rubric they were given. Copies of the rubric can be found on the back on the project letter, in the Project Template Packet, and on the Project Rubric link above.
